Get Out and Sweat Out!

As part of my ongoing fitness regime to push boundaries and challenge myself, I’m undertaking another cycling project in the last week of September – Project 4th Week 300. This activity is designed to build cardiovascular strength, endurance, and consistency.

Project Duration:

  • Start Date: 23rd September 2024, 6:00 PM
  • Finish Date: 28th September 2024

The Challenge:
Starting Monday, 23rd September 2024, I will cycle 50 kilometers each day for six days, completing a total of 300 kilometers.

It started well – 300km in 6 days, with 50km each day, is an easily achievable target. But unplanned incidents like hospital visits and rain on the 27th delayed my progress. To add to the frustration, on the 29th, I mistakenly stopped the Strava app after riding 24km, further derailing the plan. Although I completed the 300km over 7 days, the mission ultimately fell short of my expectations. I could point to various reasons, but at the end of the day, it’s my failure to meet the goal. This habit of finding excuses is simply not acceptable.
