No Guts. No Glory.
Stories are more than words.
They are the echoes of the summits we climb, the roads we travel, and the people we meet along the way. For most of my life I had one simple aim, to become an athlete. Not only to be fit, but to find out how far the body and the mind can really go. To climb big mountains. To ride across a whole country. To walk a hundred kilometres. To be in places where comfort disappears and all that is left is you, your body, your mind, and the road ahead.
Somewhere along the way I understood that the physical challenge was only one part of it. What matters to me now is understanding life through experience.
We think everything has already been discovered, already written. I don't believe the newness is gone. We just have to look more carefully.
The truth is not always on the internet. Sometimes you have to go there. Walk the road. Climb the mountain. Sit with the people. Listen to their stories.
Why I made this
That is why this exists.
A place for the stories I find along the way. The mountains I climb. The journeys I take. The people I meet. The communities I work with. And the places where I can help, even a little. It began with volunteering in Tanzania, and from there I want to keep going.
I don't want to read about life. I want to live it.
I don't know exactly where all of this leads. Maybe that is the most interesting part.
