Shipping

Where we ship:

We currently ship to all locations within India.

International shipping is available on request. Shipping costs for international orders are borne entirely by the customer. Please contact us at storieswithvenky@gmail.com before placing your order to confirm availability, shipping cost, and estimated delivery time for your country.

Shipping cost:

Shipping is always free. The cost of delivery is included in the product price — there are no additional charges at checkout.


Dispatch time:

  • Orders are packed and dispatched within 2–3 working days of payment confirmation
  • Handmade items may take up to 5 working days if made to order
  • You will receive an email notification when your order is dispatched


Delivery time:

  • Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata): 3–5 working days
  • Other cities and towns: 5–8 working days
  • Remote areas: 8–12 working days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control.

Tracking:

Where tracking is available, the tracking number will be shared via email after dispatch. For India Post shipments, tracking can be checked at indiapost.gov.in.

Returns

Eligible for return:

  • Items that arrive damaged or defective
  • Items that are significantly different from the product description
  • Wrong item received


Not eligible for return:

  • Handmade items – due to the unique, made-to-order nature of handcrafted products, returns are not accepted unless the item is damaged or defective
  • Items returned without prior communication
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer
  • Mountaineering gear that has been used

How to initiate a return:

  • Contact us at storieswithvenky@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the item
  • Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the damaged or incorrect item
  • We will respond within 2 working days with instructions
  • Do not return items without prior confirmation from us

Refunds

Refund process:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout
  • PhonePe refunds typically reflect within 5–7 working days depending on your bank
  • We will send a confirmation email when the refund is processed

Partial refunds:
 In cases where only part of an order is affected, a partial refund will be issued for the affected item(s) only.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately upon opening and email us at storieswithvenky@gmail.com with your order number and photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion.

Mountaineering Gear - Important

For safety reasons, mountaineering hardware (carabiners, descenders, slings, etc.) cannot be returned once used. Inspect all gear upon receipt. If any item arrives with visible defects or damage, contact us immediately with photographs and we will arrange a replacement.
